At Warm Fuzzies Preschool I am a teacher, care giver, story teller, boo-boo healer, and our students’ number one fan. I knew when I was a wee little girl that I wanted to be a teacher. What could be better than helping little children discover and learn about our world? Since graduating from Eastern Michigan University with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education I have taught preschool (play-based), traditional kindergarten, and Montessori preschool and kindergarten. I have loved it all and have been waiting for the chance to put it all together, pull out the best parts of each and start my own school. That is how Warm Fuzzies Preschool was created!

Dave, or Davey as I like to call him, is my wonderful husband. He is also a teacher and specializes in Mathematics and Physical Education. In addition to his teaching license Dave also has a B.A. in Economics & Business Management. He handles all of the “behind the scenes” business at Warm Fuzzies and makes sure that all of our ducks ar
Dave, or Davey as I like to call him, is my wonderful husband. He is also a teacher and specializes in Mathematics and Physical Education. In addition to his teaching license Dave also has a B.A. in Economics & Business Management. He handles all of the “behind the scenes” business at Warm Fuzzies and makes sure that all of our ducks are in a row! Dave is also present in the classroom and is a teacher and role model at Warm Fuzzies. Dave loves doing anything outdoors and anything active. He played basketball in Dexter and then at Albion college but after tearing his ACLs (ligament in the knee) 3 times (yes, 3!!), he decided to retire. Now he does still shoot hoops, but only with Freddie, Frankie, and Teddy.

Our three boys (Freddie, Frankie and Teddy) spent every day at Warm Fuzzies until they went off to kindergarten and you 5's. They now attend Dexter Schools but will make occasional appearances when they get off the bus or pop in to say hi.
