Menu

Here is a sample menu that gives you an idea of meals we serve our students. At the beginning of each month parents will receive the menu detailing what will be served for breakfast, lunch and snacks each day. We strive to serve organic and natural foods whenever possible. We try to offer variety and encourage our students to try new foods, and also understand that meals can be stressful for some children. We provide healthy staples in our menu to be sure that even the pickiest eaters are getting healthy, filling, food in their tummies at every meal. Instead of syrup filled with sugar and high fructose corn syrup with our sweet potato pancakes we serve agave nectar or honey. Our apple sauce has no added sugar (it’s just mashed organic apples!). Our chicken nuggets do not have antibiotics, hormones, or nasty fillers. Our berries are always organic. We serve organic whole milk or water with meals. Sometimes we make our own popsicles or bake our own cookies for special celebrations or occasions. We eat a lot of dried fruit, nuts, Greek yogurt, organic granola, apple sauce, organic cheeses, LOTS of fruit, snap peas and carrots, quiche, rice crackers, sandwiches, eggs (free range, all natural), olives, sesame sticks, and Annie’s organic macaroni and cheese, just to name a few. Some of our fruits, vegetables, and eggs are from our very own farm grown with no chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, or other nasty poisons.

  • Breakfast: Greek yogurt with organic maple granola and organic berries, milk
  • Lunch: Annie’s organic macaroni and cheese, apple sauce, carrots, dried cherries, cashews

♥ Tuesday

  • Breakfast: sweet potato pancakes with agave nectar, organic blueberries, milk
  • Lunch: chicken nuggets, organic pear slices, steamed broccoli, oragnic white cheddar slices

♥ Wednesday

  • Breakfast: scrambled eggs, toast with jelly (natural, no sugar), banana slices, milk
  • Lunch: four cheese tortellini with olive oil and basil, peaches, snap peas, dried mangos

♥ Thursday

  • Breakfast: whole wheat waffles with nutella, organic raspberries, milk
  • Lunch: cheese and black bean quesadillas, sour cream, avocado slices, strawberries, black olives

♥ Friday

  • Breakfast: artichoke and cheddar quiche, organic tart cherries, milk
  • Lunch: grilled cheese sandwiches, pear slices, apple sauce, carrot sticks, sesame sticks
